Many leadership teams have tried several AI tools. Fewer can point to a workflow that now runs faster and better because of one.
Choose repeatable, reviewable work
The best starting points are tasks your team does every week, that follow a recognisable pattern, and where a person can check the output quickly: first drafts of proposals, meeting summaries, research briefs, follow-up emails.
Set the rules before you scale
- Decide what information can and cannot be used with each tool.
- Keep a person responsible for every output that reaches a client.
- Measure time saved on one workflow before adding the next.
In regulated sectors, involve whoever owns compliance from the start. It is quicker than retrofitting controls later.
Practical AI is less about the newest model and more about disciplined implementation.
